“We were there in September 2017 during Hurricane Maria and went back to give it a fair try! We couldn’t have asked for better weather! They were just starting the conversion from The Royal Suites to TRS last trip! Many restaurants had been renamed since Our last visit. We could definitely tell that the service and food quality has much improved in many of the TRS only restaurants since Sept. Helios was just being built in Sept2017 & we were able to eat breakfast and lunch there only once this trip…It was busy a lot.
I did get a number of mosquito bites this trip & didn’t in September. Be sure to bring bug spray.
