        Room Requests

When sending a room request please note that it is a request not a guarantee. We suggest booking the room category you want so you will not be disappointed. When making a request it is also suggested that you list them in order of importance, for example: high floor, king bed, quiet location etc. Please include your booking number, tour operator, names on your reservation and dates of your stay.

If you are a returning guest mention the number of times you have stayed at a Palladium Resort.( include previous confirmation numbers and corresponding resorts if possible) The resorts try their best to accommodate requests based on availability at the time of your stay. Rooms are assigned 1 day prior to your arrival. Send only 1 request no sooner than 7 days prior to your arrival. Please allow up to 72 hours for a reply. Sometimes hotmail, yahoo or other third party emails may get sent to a junk folder, the Palladium is aware and checks for this. Remember to check yours for your reply as well.

        Upgrades

Below is an example for the Riviera Maya Location.

        • Note: It is not Travel club Policy to upgrade. They have their own system in place for members.

Upgrades are available based on occupancy and availability as follows:

        GP Colonial & Kantenah
        From Std to Junior suite
From Junior Suite to Mayan Suite
From Mayan Suite to Presidential Suite
        GP White Sand & Riviera
        From Junior Suite to Suite
        From Suite To Mayan Suite
Note: Suites between the resorts are different. The suite’s at the Col/Kan are larger. Size is like two Junior Suites in size.

Can I upgrade my room at check in ?

All upgrades are subject to availability at time of check in.

Will repeat guests receive any special “benefits”?

We have tried to publicize everything that is “official” Repeat guest benefits are not”official”although there are some rough guidelines. Is this your 2nd trip or more?

A guest who has been there 2-3 times may get an upgrade if available, may get a fruit basket. There are no guarantees on an upgrade.

A guest who has been there 4+ times may get the above in addition to 3 a la carte reservations if they choose.

Guests who have been 8 or more times (RM), 10 or more times (PC) may get a gold bracelet which entitles them to unlimited a la carte reservations and access to El Jardin. They also have the spa fee waived. Gold bracelets are at manegment’s discretion.

None of these are cast in stone and there may be additional amenities such as flowers, champagne, etc for an anniversary or other special occasion. We always suggest you book the room you want so there will be no disappointment. Guests may also order special amenities for a cost.

          Gracias Brenda.

I cannot emphasize enough to book what you really want, especially if you want a Mayan Suite in Kantenah as those are in demand as are some categories in the Royal..  Do not go assuming you’ll be upgraded. I read a trip report from someone saying yesterday his entire trip was ruined because he was not upgraded for his anniversary.  There are many variables including occupancy, availability (some rooms may be under refurbishment, etc). Thus, book what you’ll be happy with and if you get upgrade that’s ikea gift!
