Sinkhole at White Sand – Unofficial Palladium

  It appears that a sinkhole has developed in the lagoon on the White Sand. The resort is built on limestone and there are many sinkholes & cenotes in the area. This has caused the management to drain the swamp while it is being repaired. I would suggest that if you plan to stay in a Romance Suite (Mayan suite) on White Sand or TRS soon you request to be re-located. I will keep you updated as I get info.

  The news I heard today is the lagoon is “low” but not totally drained. Fish have been removed and are safe. Hang in.
