        Do I need a jacket or shawl for evening. Want to keep things down to a minimum to bring only carry-on. I used a jacket sometimes in December.

          I have been quite comfy in a sleeveless dress in evenings.  It is not as warm in the evenings as some other years but not cool either. I do have a big scarf/shawl which I would be more than happy to lend you if you were cool. It is black & white.  Maybe somebody else could answer as you know I am seldom cold.  I also have a black sweater so don’t worry, don’t over pack. On our way to El Gaucho soon.

            I think I’ll wear a jacket on the plane. I am coordinating black & white so that might be perfect!  I am squeezing in gifts & books so may just make the carry on work.

              Good luck with the packing.  My bro & his wife can vacation for 3 weeks with a carry on.  Hmmmmm!
