  • Yes, there is free wifi available in most public areas and in the rooms.

  • Yes. Incoming calls will be transferred to your room.

Can I use a calling card to make outgoing telephone calls from my room?

  • Yes, for local or long distance calls from your room the rates are: local calls: 1-3 minutes (10 RD$ per minute); Every additional minute (1 RD$);  mobiles (7RD$ per minute); International calls to Europe (70 RD$ per minute); International calls to USA (37 RD$ per minute); International calls to Canada (40 RD$ per minute); international calls to South and Central America (50 RD$ per minute); International calls to the Pacific (75 RD$ per minute). Calls with telephone cards do have a service fee of 40 RD$ per connection with the operator. Collect calls do have a service fee of 40 RD$ per connection with the operator.

  • Taxi: From the airport, taxi is about 20 km / 20min. With a cost of approximately U.S. $ 35 one way. Negotiate before you leave the airport. If you book with PHG they provide transportation. Check your confirmation for transportation info.

Does the resort offer day passes for visitors?

  • Yes.  The day pass has a cost of USD $80 and the night pass USD $90. (This does not include TRS)

Does the resort offer beach towels?

  • Yes, each guest will be given a towel card. Clean towels are available at towel huts located at all pools with cards or you may trade yours in for a clean one.

What are the pool hours ?

  • Boca Chica Pool: Located in Grand Palladium Bavaro. Hours 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
  • Barahona Pool: Located in Grand Palladium Palace. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
  • Samana Pool: Located in Grand Palladium Punta Cana. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
  • Saona Pool: Located in Grand Palladium Punta Cana. Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
  • The Secret Pool: Located between Grand Palladium Palace Resort and Spa and TRS Turquesa, of recent construction, only for adults and with an environment of easing and incomparable tranquility. Schedules of 10:00 am-12:00pm

Is the beach accessible ?

  • Yes, You can use one of these Amphibious Chairs available in the lifegaurd stands on the beach…So that nobody is left without trying the sea.

What is there to do on a rainy day? 

  • In the event of a rainy day when you cant get out to the beach, most activities are moved indoors to the lobbies, theaters and even the disco. The Palladium’s “Animation Team” has numerous organized activities planned from morning to late afternoon to keep you busy. Rainy days are also good days to visit the Sports Bar or the Spa. You will find plenty to do.
  • Children activities on those rainy days :Mini Club,Fort Castillo offers your children ages 4 to 12 a variety of supervised activities. Open from 9a.m – 5p.m and 7 to 11:00p.m. Located next to reception in the Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa.
  • Black & White Jr. Club: Ages from 13 to up to 19 years old. Open from 11a.m – 00.00p.m. The “Black & White” Junior Club offers a full activity program to suit every age, as well as a special lounge with video games and another with table games: pool, table tennis and table football. Also, there is an area designed for their main leisure activity: computers.

What is the legal drinking age in Punta Cana?

  • 18 years old. All minors will receive a special color wristband alerting bartenders that they are under age.

  • Casino*: For 18 and older only. Hours: 10:00am – 3:00am
  • 5 kiosk bars along 1 km of beautiful beach. Hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm

When do the maids service the rooms?

  • Rooms will be cleaned between 8:00am and 5:00pm.  Please use cleaning service signs found in your room when you would like your room cleaned and when you do not wish to be disturbed. There are also cards to report any room problems with the room ( ie: a broken light switch )

Does the resort have Cribs?

  • Yes, you may request to have a crib (pack n play ) available when making a room request.


How often is my mini bar refilled? 

  • The mini fridge is normally refilled everyday with beer, water, and soda.
  • TRS Turquesa, how much ($) is the champagne and wine in the room?
    Champagne 28USD and wines are from 30USD to 55USD depending the bottle you select.(subject to change)

How many a la carte dinners will I receive ?

  •  All guests now have unlimited a la cartes by reservation. You can use the App for reservations.PHG APP
  • There is a charge for lobster

Does the resort offer room service ?

Is Lobster available and what is the cost ?

  • Yes, lobster is available at all a la cartes for a cost of $55 USD. Resort credits can be used to cover part of the cost. (read the fine print)

  • NEWRelaxed dress code for men. Long pants and closed toe shoes are required in Chic Cabaret.

  • Looking ahead to the beginning of 2020 and with the promise of continuing to offer a unique and unforgettable experience at Chic Cabaret & Restaurant – our show-dinner restaurant with a 3 hour show and more than 25 artists on stage – we would like to inform you that as of January 2023 it will be necessary to make a reservation in order to attend the show, with a cost per person of $45 USD. With this reservation you are guaranteed a place, and we will ensure optimal development of both the show and the dinner.


  • This fee will be charged to the room at the time of booking a Chic Cabaret & Restaurant reservation, and will be paid at check-out before leaving the hotel. Guests are not required to pay this fee when attending the show.
    For guests of Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Family Selection and the general public, Chic Cabaret & Restaurant is available at a cost of $100 USD plus the $45 USD reservation fee per person.
    For external clients that are not guests of the resorts, Chic Cabaret & Restaurant is available at a cost of $100 USD plus the $45 USD reservation fee per person.


Is the milk they serve pasteurized?

  • Yes. It is UHT.

Is the water and ice safe to consume ?

  • The Ice is safe, the tap water is not. Only drink the bottled water. The drinks and water served onsite are safe.

Do I need to bring toiletries ?

  • No, the basics are in the room. Many do prefer to bring their own hair care products though.

Do I need to bring an adapter for the electrical outlets?

  • No. The electricity is 110 volts. The outlets accept the standard  two and three prong plugs used in the USA and Canada.  You may wish to bring a short extension cord or a small power bar to make it easier to charge multiple devices.

Amenities:  safes, clock radio / mp3, coffee makers, irons, ironing boards and hair dryers in the rooms .

Are there TV channels in English? 

  • Yes, including news and sports channels.

Can I use walkie talkies in the Dominican Republic ?

  • Yes, be sure to pack them in your checked luggage with the batteries removed.

Can I pre purchase my tourist card ?

  • Yes,  however, be sure to check with your tour operator or airline to see if it is included first.

Where can I find  information about getting married or vow renewals ?

What is there for kids to do ? 

  • The Palladium Hotel Group has implemented a wonderful family program. There is something for children of all ages to do, please refer to our Palladium Kids Page for more details.

What is Imperial Club ?

  • Imperial Club is a offered exclusively to those who book an Imperial Club room with Transat Holidays. Here is a list of some of the included perks that come with this.
  • Premium brand drinks; Separate check in at club desk; Distinct identification bracelet; Welcome gift and letter; Fruit basket upon arrival; Concierge service; Private cocktail party. Please refer to Transats website for a full list and any changes that may occur.

TRS Turquesa Room Location

  • Jr. Suites and Honeymoon Suites are located in buildings 40-52.
  •  Romance Suites, Royal Suites and Royal Deluxe Jr. Suites are located in buildings 53-58.
  • Cabana suites are in building 59.

What Spirits are in the rooms in TRS Turquesa ?

  • No  charge: 1 bottles of premium alcohol in the room (refillable):  choice of:  Rum (Brugal), whiskey ( William Lawson), Gin Tonic ( Saphire Bombay),  Vodka(Eriftoff). Also, for an extra charge, wine( Muga, Mouton Cadet, Rober Mondavi and Woodbrige chardonay) and Segura Viuda Sparkling wine. (Subject to change)
