Grand Palladium did not disappoint !!!
Attention to detail
As a huge group of 18 of us and following this page made me and my family extremely dubious as to whether we had made the right choice. But how wrong we were….. this hotel has something for everyone. We never felt like it was too busy, we had young people from 7 up to 25 and they covered something for them all.
The refurbishments are not a problem as you don’t really see them in the Colonial. The bus service to each resort is a god send if you have meals booked out to get to different restaurants – if I could say something those extra restaurants are brilliant and really recommend you try the teppanyaki as it was such fabulous food and the entertainment was brilliant!!!
There was never a need to worry about not having enough sunbeds and with a party of 16 around the family pool, we never ever struggled!!!!
There was some great water sports in the pool, for all ages. The men enjoyed these and got rather competitive (all in good spirit) and the football pitch was brilliant and flood lit.
The wildlife is incredible and as myself and my sister were really worried about seeing something we didn’t, this never happened. We saw the most amazing wildlife and it blew us away, our girls were amazed at what we saw. One day a pelican flew in front of us on the . The bird song in the morning was stunning!!
The buffet restaurant for food was brilliant and you had something for everyone. Breakfast was a real delight daily, we miss this now pancakes for breakfast every day to cereal is a real come down !!!
Drinks were plentiful and the Mirinda was a hit with the kids…… the cocktails were amazing and the choices I had never seen so many.
We celebrated a birthday and the meal we arranged for my Dad was brilliant. It was a private dining experience and the choice of food was fab. There was so much food left over we felt awful, the hotel could not do enough for us !!!
The rooms were spacious and as we had 2 kids in our room they both had a bed each….. rooms were comfortable and the cleaners were lovely. Coffee percolator was in the room but we always had hot drinks when we went out the room.
To make it even more special the fact that Halloween and the day of the dead was celebrated when we were out there was a real treat. The decor and the au they make themselves up is brilliant.
We have had the most amazing and magical time together and made some incredible memories to last forever .
We will be returning for sure
