As our commitment to providing guests’ with an exceptional vacation experience continues to be our prime focus, we have decided to reshift the focus of Palladium Hotels & Resorts in Riviera Nayarit. As of December 1, 2017, the adults-only The Royal Suites Punta de Mita Hotel will no longer exist and will instead operate as Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa. This means that there will no longer be exclusive “adults-only” guestroom areas within the hotel. The adults-only pool will also begin to operate as a “relaxing adult-friendly pool area”.
This decision was made on the heels of the newly rebranded The Royal Suites Hotel and its mission to deliver a memorable vacation experience for adults. We believe that in order to better serve our guests, consistent offerings throughout each brand is essential and we are certain that this shift will ensure all guests are given the best opportunity to enjoy their stay with us in Riviera Nayarit.
In addition to these operational changes, renovations will soon begin to other areas within the hotel. Below is a summary of the upcoming renovations:
Lobby – Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa
- Renovations to the current lobby will take place between August 15 – November 15, 2017. The lobby of The Royal Suites Punta de Mita will be used for all Front Desk services during this time.
*Please note that during this time, guests of The Royal Suites will share the lobby with families. All of facilities will remain as adults-only.
Las Terrazas Restaurant
- Renovations to this buffet restaurant will take place between August 15 – November 15, 2017. During this time, guests may enjoy from any other of the buffet or a-la-carte restaraurants.

Below please find a complete timeline of the renovations at Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa. Every effort will be made to ensure that this process will not affect our guests’ vacation experience.
Lobby – Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa
- Renovations to the current lobby will take place between August 15 – November 15, 2017. The lobby of The Royal Suites Punta de Mita will be used for all Front Desk services during this time. A satellite customer service desk is currently located in Towers 1 and 2 to accommodate guests staying at this side of the resort.
- Hemingway Bar is located where the current lobby of The Royal Suites Punta de Mita.
- Between September 15 – November 15 the current access to the plaza at Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa will be closed. During this time an access path will be created to make the Sports Bar, Disco and Lobby. Bar acessible to all guests.
- Additional access zones will be created to facilitate access to the lobby of The Royal Suites Punta de Mita from Towers 2 & 3.
- Nightly shows will continue to be offered in alternative areas to be defined.

Restaurants
- Renovations to Las Terrazas Restaurant and Portofino Restaurant will take place between September 11 – November 15, 2017.
- Renovations to Portofino will take place between October 1 – November 15, 2017.
- During this time, El Bosque will operate breakfast/brunch with extended hours.
- The beach area will amplify their food service and host additional day-time activities and parties.
- The menus from Ribs & More and Portofino will be offered at the different restaurants.
