For the seventh consecutive year grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa has been certified with the blue flag. The #Banderaazul is an annual award given by the European foundation for environmental education to the beaches and ports that meet a number of environmental conditions and facilities. The criteria for obtaining the blue flag are divided into four main areas: quality of bathing water, environmental education and information, environmental management and security services and facilities. It is located on the beaches, marinas and tour operators of sustainable navigation as an indication of their high environmental standards and quality.
