Rafa Nadal presented today in Mexico, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre; a new line of sports complexes that complement the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, located in Mallorca, Spain.

These new sports centers are located in the vicinity of high-class resorts and vacation complexes in leading international destinations. The centres offer tennis programs for guests and area residents so they can play and take tennis lessons with the highest of standards.

Through the agreement signed with Palladium Hotel Group, the first Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre, currently under construction, is scheduled to open its doors in November 2018 in Costa Mujeres, located north of Cancun (Mexico). The centre will be part of the facilities of both hotels TRS Coral Hotel and Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa that the chain is building in this destination in Mexico.

In this regard, Nadal has assured: “I am happy to present this new project in Mexico. This country is a nearby country in every respect and to open here the first project this year is great news. With the experience we have with tennis and following in the same line from the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, located in Spain, we feel it will be an important attraction right now for the places where the projects are going to be located. In this case, with my friends at Palladium in Costa Mujeres, where I had the opportunity to visit the construction last week. I am eager to see the project finished and come to see it in person”.

The new Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre Costa Mujeresoffers tennis programs for all levels and ages, both for guests of the hotels and area residents. Each tennis program offered at the Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre is personalized, of high-quality and conducted by coaches of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar. These programs have been developed from an exclusive training system, based on the experience acquired by Rafa Nadal and his technical team during more than fifteen years of his professional career on the ATP circuit and based on the knowledge developed at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar. The Academy opened its doors in May 2016 in Mallorca and more than 2,000 players have already passed through.

Rafa Nadal Tennis Centre Costa Mujeres has 8 clay tennis courts, a soccer field 7, one paddle court, an exhibition of objects and clothes from Rafa Nadal, a store with exclusive premium sports products, and a bar/cafeteria with TV screens so guests can watch tennis and other sports.
