  Has anyone experienced loud music or noise from the new hotel next to the Kantenah side, while on the beach or the Mayan suites?

  When they first opened they were trying to “find themselves” or “identify their niche” so to speak. It is supposed to be a very upscale resort catering to adults. Since opening they have moderated the music and things have become more “subtle”, I believe, based on trip reports I’ve read, and posts on another forum.
  
  So, short answer, I don’t think it will be a problem.

  When we stayed in March the music was a little loud at times. It would not stop me from staying in a Mayan Suite.

  Thanks Brenda. We are not bothered by a bit of music after all it is vacation! Hoping to return in 2018 for an 11 th visit. Anxious to see the staff, hopefully Anne & all the changes.

  We booked early to make sure we got the type of room we wanted. Not sure if there will be some sales later but hate to take a chance.

    Yes indeed, I always say we should wait and go last minute but we almost always have then next one booked.
