Color code for Yucatan : Green

For the week beginning Monday November 15, the epidemiological risk colour code for the entire state is GREEN – Stage 1 (low risk).

According to the guidelines, Green — Stage 1 means 80% maximum allowed capacity at hotels, restaurants, theme parks, beaches, public parks & cinemas, 50% at bars and nightclubs, and 80% on public transportation.

Note: Green has stages. We are currently Green — Stage 1. Capacities will increase with a change to Green — Stage 2. Both are still low risk, not “no risk”.

As of 15 December 2020, a decree makes the wearing of masks in all public spaces mandatory in the entire state. All other health protocols are still in effect.
