I was there last week and had the same issue – emailed them for weeks before I got there, tried to get a specific time (first day there at 9:15am), got no response, tried to use Facebook messenger, no success, then went to their table but they were booked for two days (not sure how that is possible since they don’t respond to anyone…). We finally got a time on our third day.
The tour is a blast, we ended up doing it twice. They get an A+ for fun on the tour and an F- for responsiveness beforehand.
Good luck.

April 3, 2016 at 9:32 pm in reply to: Trip Report, Easter Week – great weather & great staff make for a great vacation #4692Anne, my daughter had a blast! She’s never been one to go to the kids clubs (even though this one seems to get positive reviews) and she actually knew a good friend from her school that was at the resort, so they swam from 10:30 to 4:30 every day, stopping only for lunch at the buffet. She loved trying out her limited Spanish vocabulary with the staff (the staff were all extremely encouraging of her efforts). She did pottery painting at the beach, bought a few small gifts at the outdoor shopping area near the Colonial theatre, and LOVED the Segway tour and the foam party. She would go back there in a heartbeat, which will definitely influence any future travel decisions that we make.
summerlove, I will definitely be trying your idea next time!
Thanks all for the feedback.

Thanks Blueskies. Review is posted, almost 2000 words. Guess I got a bit rambly…
Jason
Anne, many thanks. Started to write a review and should be done shortly (it’s a bit lengthy, wanted to include as much detail as possible not only for other readers but also for myself to reference in the future).
Jason
Thank you both! Looking forward to a great week in paradise and will write a trip review when I return. If anyone has questions while I’m down here, fire away and I’m happy to look into them.
Thanks,
JasonGot it, thanks Anne. Should make the luggage a bit lighter…

Anne – so when it says “water volleyball at 11am”, for example, does it occur at both pools? We’re staying at Kantenah and have friends at Riviera so we’re trying to determine where we should meet each day, want to be close to the activities.
Thanks,
JasonMarch 5, 2016 at 10:48 am in reply to: Riviera Maya – what day do the following events usually occur? #4073This is excellent information, thank you all! My wife is a director of catering operations and would love the kitchen tour if there are enough people to make it happen.
Just to make sure – would you consider any of these events (or any other official events that may happen) to be kid-inappropriate? I’ll have an 11 year old girl with me. Seems like it’s mostly G or PG rated stuff, perhaps PG-13 at worst.
Thanks,

Fantastic! Many thanks for looking into this, definitely will book this tour as soon as the Easter Mass schedule is available.
JasonGood to know. I probably should make sure that the Segway company is even doing tours on Easter Sunday.
Thanks again, much appreciated.
Jason
Anne, many thanks. We arrive the day before Easter and were looking to do the 9am Segway tour on Easter Sunday, but also want to attend Mass. Sounds like I need to wait before booking the tour.
