I love the Kantenah Mayan suites but the extra amenities at TRS make it worth the inconvenience of being not as near the beach.

Here are are things to note:
We were told that TRS Yucatan restaurants will require a reservation. We have seen people get in without.
You must pre select your meal when making your reservation, if attending the Chic Cabaret.
The Capricho offers a different themed dinner menu each night.
The dress code remains the same at posted on the PHG website.
Some of the a la cartes are now using an automated order system. The server enters your choice into a device which is sent to the back. Everyone we spoke to says it makes their job easier and they really like it.
The beach club is close to opening, so those coming soon will be able to enjoy it.
The TRS Yucatan is amazing and modern. The service everywhere is beyond fantastic. Once it all grows in and come together you won t want to go anywhere else.From Rosa:

Argentinian restaurant “El Gaucho”
And we trust that we will be opening, at the end of this week, our Italian restaurant “Tentazione”.

The new Italian should open on Thursday. New brown towels for go and cream coral for TRS. They are working on the Royal Mayan suites. They will be beautiful, we peeked.. The new Helios beach club should be close to opening on the coming weekend.

You will be able to use your bracelet to open your room (no key needed), charge services to your room like spa services, make reservations and more. We will be getting more info soon.
I believe I am flying into Terminal 4. My daughter is flying into terminal 3. We are hoping AGI Tours can coordinate this . I think they can.

It will be more than a pleasure to see you again in our Little corner of Paradise.
Don’t worry, we can arrange it without a problem, we have 3 staff that look out at the airport, we can check every terminal and will be waiting for you and your daughter even if arriving in different terminals.
Your services has been confirmed, please look for our staff just outside the airport building as usual, we will be holding an AGI Tours sign with a banner with your name on it, we will also have Allison’s name on a banner for her pick up then you will go together at the Palladium.
For your departure we can pick you up at 11:00AM at your lobby if that’s ok with you.

As I recall they do not X-ray luggage anymore at Cancun. I think they did away with the red light but occasionally pull someone over.
Hope to have a countdown soon so will let you know. We likely will go into Terminal 3.
Finished off my “me time” with a very peaceful and sunny last day. I am going to do this again next year. You don’t realize how much you need a little down time until you give yourself a taste of it. Thank you Alexa Backmann, Talia Sylvester and Bill Backmann for holding down the fort and taking care each other and my fur babies so momma could get some me time. Love you guys! See you tomorrow

Feeling much better, strength almost back. Arrived in Vienna this am. Sun is finally shining. We have been to Vienna a couple of times & seen all the sights so we walked to the Prater which is a huge amusement park & of no interest to us except there is a big Ferris wheel built in 1897, damaged in WWll & then restored. We have always wanted to see it & ride on it. Then found the nicest cleanest restaurant we have ever seen. Did not expect to find such a place at the Prater. It cost about $12 cdn just to sit down but so worth it. Delicious food sat on patio with Mozart & Strauss music playing. Keith was in heaven. Having a martini on ship, so good to enjoy life again. Tonight we have tickets to an opera , Strauss & Mozart. Today is Shauna’s bday & 3 years since mom passed. Will send pics. The Wiener schnitzel is big enough for 3 so we left a lot of food. Big dish of dumplings with parsley &butter Yummy.
