Best to ask for rooms on the rear of 68 as that back up to jungle and is private. You should bring repellant with Deet in it in case of mosquitoes in the evenings.
No beach bags provided. No bottle buggies. Many people bring their own Bubba Mugs to keep their drinks cold.
No there is not an on line list of bottles for the room. Ask your butler as some of the bottles may have a charge if you switch them out.
Here is where you will find a list of beer provided at the resort as well as cocktails, alcohol and non-alcohol. If you want something specific in your room fridge leave a note in the fridge with a small tip or ask your butler.
Make room requests one week ahead.

🍸😁. This post is about the chic show at TRS. I purposely did not look at any of the videos regarding the show ( well maybe a glimpse) so that it would all be a surprise, and boy was it a surprise. The whole evening ( get there for 7.30 latest) to get the full experience, photo opportunity, drinks snacks etc. All I am going to say is this, it was one of the best evenings I have spent 3 and 1/2 hours of complete joy. That’s it end of post 😊
Menu:
Surf and turf entree. Choice of crm of asparagus orcrm of mushroom soup both delicious. Choice of couch cous or prawn salad choice of cheesecake or mousse for dessert
Helios was opened for breakfast for the past two weeks during Easter weeks. Now that thing have slowed down it will not be opened for breakfast.

The gentleman who wrote that report contacted me several times before he went and I had some hesitation based on some of his questions. Some people are just harder to please than others. I aways go wit the attitude of not sweating the small stuff and with a great appreciation for the wonderful staff.

Yes I read that review. He also posted here. Frankly, the butler bent over backwards for me. I asked them for some personal favors and no problem.
The gentleman had specific expectations based on his “favorite” resort. TRS is fairly new and is still working on things. I can attest that from my December visit to my March visit that things had improved and they even implemented 2 of my suggestions in that short period of time.
When I first went in December the resort was fairly new and had a soft opening so it wasn’t busy. They did rotate the restaurants but the butlers were always informed as to what was open and they arranged all of my reservations accordingly.
I don’t know if the resort prioritizes reservations made on their website. Just send a room request a week before arrival. I had a great sea view in 66.
Haven’t heard any complaints about the included transfer. It may be shared but all goes to the GP so no delays.
Resort credits are more like coupons so you have to spend money to use them, i.e. buy a bottle of wine. They do have a credit for the Segway Tours so that may be useful if you decide to do that.

You will love TRS. As you probably know it is an adult only section of a much larger complex. It has its own activities scheduled, mostly around adults but you and your partner may also partake of other events on the sister resorts if you want more activity.
Suggest you download the App
You can see daily activities for the Colonial & White Sand side under activities. Once you are there and have a room number you can also use the App to contact your butler, call a cart and more.
Here are some additional activities planned for TRS.
Suggest you take the Segway tour from the Kantenah Beach.It will give you a great tour of the entire complex
Be sure you ask your butter to reserve Chic Cabaret for you . (Men must wear long pants here.) Also, suggest you try the a la cartes on the TRS side before you wander to the other sections of the resort for dinner. In the evening there is sometimes music at TRS. There is a party before and after the Chic shows on Monday, Wednesday, Friday on the terrace outside of Chic.
On other nights there are live bands on Colonial and White Sand sides.
In addition, there is a White Party & Fire show on the Colonial beach on Mondays, Peace & Love Party in Colonial on Tuesdays and a Back to the 80s Party on Wednesdays. There is also a chocolate night in Hemingways off the Kantenah lobby on Thursdays, a Rock n burger party at the Colonial beach bar on Thursdays, a Kukos party at Colonial at noon on Tuesdays and a paella party with live band at Colonial on Sundays at noon. If foam parties are of interest there is one with live music on Colonial beach on Thursdays at 4pm.
Don’t hesitate to ask your butler for anything you may need. There is also 24 hour room service. You cannot order cocktails via room service but you will have 4 bottles of alcohol in your room. You can request juice to mix. There is also a 24 hour bar open in the lobby with premium drinks. The wine in your room has a charge so if you don’t wish to pay stick to house wine (Bring a bubba mug)
Be sure and make a sunrise. I was able to see the sunrise from my balcony in building 66. You can also walk to the beach bar on White Sand ad grab a good coffee or mimosa for the sunrise.

And in a snap our 2 week “recovery” vacation in Jamaica is over. Can’t complain, we’ve been away 4 out of the last 6 weeks & our trip in May is only 45 days away lol. Life is good but I miss spending time with my kids.Looking forward to going home and starting the month of April. Having Easter at our house with family (24 of us😳) & also celebrating my daughters birthday. I can’t believe my sunshine will be 25 on April 19th! Shhh. I’m surprising her with a trip to Punta Cana as her gift!

A couple of things I forgot to mention in my recent trip report:
My husband has a severe mango allergy, I have never said “allergy to mango” more than I did the seven days we were at the Palladium. They take food allergies very seriously, which is reassuring.
Secondly, it was so nice to see Anne and meet her friends the Lokes, whom I have read about on this forum for as long as I been a member.
I think that’s it.
Agree. I have an unusual allergy and was asked about it everywhere I went!

I aree; security guards were very visible and helpful. I must have looked lost a couple of times when they approached me and offered to help. Really, I was just exploring!

Last night we went to the TRS lobby where there was live music. Martine was there earlier looking sharp. He played the Lokes’ song, “As time goes by”.
We had a marvelous dinner at La Boheme including the wonderful onion soup and tender chateaubriand.
I got back to the room to this amazing box of treats which included chocolate covered strawberries which look like works of art.
Too much spoiling. No wonder I can’t stay away!

I think I’ll wear a jacket on the plane. I am coordinating black & white so that might be perfect! I am squeezing in gifts & books so may just make the carry on work.
