I love doing it ! I had a handful of pieces commissioned by a local artisan. Each one unique and beautiful in their own way. I get so much joy from paying it forward, its totally worth it. There will be more to come, here and there. Better luck next time !

Great information ! The last few trips we have not ventured off the resort. It seems once we enter those beautiful Palladium arches we never want to leave. I hope to visit Playa next time though.

The Riviera section is nice and quite. You can sometimes get a peek of the sea over the tree tops and you can hear the surf. While the resort has updated other sections this one has not yet been done. The rooms are still kept clean and look fine. Here are a couple of pictures from our last visit in this section just over a year ago.
This was a third floor room next to the path leading to the Salt Water Pool (which is amazing and so close) Try not to worry, go with an open mind and enjoy !

It will all be worth it once you are together for Christmas. Just fast forward to your first cappy or vino once you arrive.

They have relaxed the dress code in PC and PV already. I know they are considering the same in RM but Im not sure if that has been implemented yet. Nice dress shorts on a hot humid evening will be a welcome change for the guys.
Here is an overview of the future Palladium Playa Mujeres property as is stands today. It looks much nicer when the sun is shining.
It took us about 40 minutes from the airport but that was slow due to traffic and a check stop. I would say between 30 and 40 min.
The resorts here are built with protection of the mangroves and other natural areas in mind. The environmental freindly commitment of the PHG will be a good fit. The rooms and pools of other resorts are built close to the sea offering fantastic views of both the sea and Isla Mujeres. I so look forward to seeing the new Palladium Playa Mujeres come to life.
