Thanks for posting. I wonder if they now have wheelchairs. Last I checked they only had a couple for emergencies.

Wow, time flies! Ye, they should allow the kids in providing they are well behaved You will have to go by the first time and sign them in. Let us know how it works out.
Here is a pic of the teen dinner. As you can see there are all ages.
Lokes and I always meet for a cocktail at the Full Moon bar before dinner. Lovely staff there. They are usually setting up a band for the pre-Chic show around 7 pm.
We had a reservation at La Boheme for 5. As we waited for 2 of the kids to arrive (adult kids) the hostess asked us to wait at the bar as they like to seat the entire party. I checked out the gin for flavored gin. They do have Oliver brand lime gin.
Finally hungry three of us got seated and then the kids arrived. Fransesco (sp?) was nice enough to move us to a table for five. The kids praised AGI driver (not sure which?) for saving them $5 at a convenience store where they stopped for supplies. Apparently the cashier took the liberty of tipping himself. The driver checked my friend’s change and confronted the cashier. He retrieved $5.
In Boheme we ordered a combination of salads, onion soup, chateaubriand, salmon & lamb chops. All were excellent.
After a wonderful night of food & friends I returned to the room for a welcome bottle of tequila!
We are having a wonderful, easy relaxed time. It is not easy to find comfortable travel companions. I met the Lokes in 2007 at the Palladium and we immediately bonded. Since then I have attended their son’s wedding at the Palladium and met them several times for reunions. This is their 50th anniversary!! Looking forward to meeting their grown kids tomorrow after many years.
Wonderful first day. Seeing old friends. The Lokes arrived late so we only saw each other briefly. Sitting on my balcony listening to the birds. Looking forward to a fun day.
I have also received great service from the management & e butler at TRS. Can’t wait to arrive and see you guys. Counting down!!

I have booked a flight to Cancun to meet the Lokes at the P in February. Flights back were horrible so I didn’t book yet. The hotel is flexible with my booking. My daughter did this in December when she wanted to go to Miami from Cancun and it worked out. I am slightly nervous. Does anyone have any experience with booking one way flights?

Another beautiful day in Paradise. It’s breezy as it has been but not unpleasant. Music just started at the pool (8 am). It is also pleasant although during the day it can be a bit loud. Many seem to enjoy this. I have been getting a Bali bed at the beach and listening to the surf. Last night we ate at Helios. Had the varied appetizer plate followed by shrimp kebabs. Food & service were excellent. Thanks to butlers Christian & Aaron we have all of our dinner reservations. Tonight is Tapeo.
Santa arrived y helicopter in Costa Mujeres
We saw Chic last night. Smaller venue which was nice. Service & food very good. The show didn’t seem as varied as that in RM but performers are very talented.
We arrived last evening. Airport was very busy and traffic was heavy. AGI was waiting for us despite Abby being late. Julio brought us to the hotel in a plush new vehicle. It took about 40 minutes.
Check in was very friendly. We were upgraded to a Loft suite in building 2. Very nice gift for Abby’s birthday. We are blown away by how stunning the hotel is. Abby said this is her kind of place and she feels like she’s in Ibiza.
Our butler Christopher was very accommodating. He understood we were tired so rather than give us an orientation he walked us to La Boheme where we were seated right away (about 8 pm). We had warm brie, onion soup en croute, lobster with very tender filet and lamb chops. Marco was our excellent waiter.
After dinner we went to the Gravity Sky bar for a cocktail. We met some people from our Facebook page. Everything was very laid back.
Today is Abby’s birthday so I am excited to see what is done for her. Some people have already mentioned her birthday.
Weather is overcast and a bit cool. “Chill” music is playing in the background. All is good. Will check back later.

Just an update: There is still work being done around the resort. Today they are going hard near the end of building 1 and on the entrance area of Helios and I’m sure other locations as well. The work has to be done guests or no guests.
Most all amenities are available from what I have seen.
This is our last day and we will be sad to leave tomorrow. We have had a wonderful time.
The finishing construction did not impact our vacation in a negative manner. If work was being done in an area and we didn’t like it we moved on.
We look forward to returning again to see the changes and watch as the resort grows and matures.

I had an email from Rosie yesterday regarding christmas week in Costa Mujeres.
There will be a special dinner on Christmas Eve. I should have the menu soon.
The show schedule for Chic for Christmas week is not out yet. I’ll let you know what it is as soon as I know.
I should also have the Christmas Mass schedule soon.

Sounds like a good price! You will not be entitled to visit the TRS or Family restaurants, TRS or Family S pools or section of beach. If you choose to attend Chic Cabaret or visit the spa there will be charges.
You will still have plenty of options for restaurants & bars. Grand Palladium restaurants
Felipe reports that the technicians are currently weighing their options. Will update when I know more.
The news I heard today is the lagoon is “low” but not totally drained. Fish have been removed and are safe. Hang in.
